Bus Report #177
Go Team!
This morning I got off the 38 only to see the 22 pull out of the Fillmore stop and cross Geary. I ran, more like threw myself towards the bus at what felt like an alarming, break-neck speed. The driver stopped and opened the door. It was our newest, nicest driver.
I flashed him my MUNI pass and thanked him.
The dreadlocked dental technician grinned at me and said, "You made it."
Towards the back of the bus Carmen was saving my seat.
I sat down. She said, "I saw you and was yelling for him to stop the bus!"
Aw, thanks, Carmen!
I love those mornings where everything just seems to fall in to place in the end.
